Kenmare / Neidin is a picturesque town known as the “Little Nest” and is nestled at the top of Kenmare Bay between the famous Ring of Kerry and Ring of Beara. The town is home to some of the country’s best scenery, colourful shop facades, accommodation and restaurants.
Built in the 17th century, Kenmare was Ireland’s first planned town. It is also a Fáilte Ireland designated Heritage Town and a multiple gold-winner Tidy Town. The town is host to the Kenmare Lace and Design Centre, Bronze Age Stone Circle, Heritage Centre, Water Cruises, a weekly Farmer’s Market, Reenagross Park, Cromwell’s Bridge, two golf courses and numerous walking trails, as well as first-class shops, restaurants, pubs and accommodation.
